Complete 365: Proof, Not Just Promises

Reliable IT should be measurable. Complete 365 gives customers clear reports, recorded actions and an improvement plan, not simply assurances that everything is being looked after.

Any IT provider can say that a business is secure, monitored and well supported. The more important question is whether they can show what is protected, what has been improved, what still needs attention and what action they are taking next.

Complete 365 is built around that visibility. Alongside day-to-day support, Konnetix continually monitors the customer's environment, reviews its security position and turns the findings into practical actions. Customers receive evidence they can understand and use, rather than being expected to accept technical promises on trust.

If you are new to the service, our guide to Complete 365 explains the full managed IT, security, TAM and vCIO model.

The Complete 365 Security Alignment Report

Every Complete 365 customer receives a personalised Security Alignment Report. It provides a scored, plain-English view of the business's security posture across 19 important areas, showing what is secured, what needs attention and where a vulnerability remains.

The assessment brings together controls that are often managed separately, including:

  • Endpoint protection and 24/7 Managed Detection and Response
  • Microsoft 365 backup, identity protection and security policies
  • Multi-factor authentication and administrator controls
  • Device monitoring, operating system and application patching
  • Email authentication and protection against phishing and spoofing
  • Security awareness training and dark web monitoring
  • Supported hardware, software, firewalls and network security
  • Disaster recovery, vCIO guidance and Technical Account Management

A new customer's first report establishes the starting point. It records existing strengths, identifies gaps and creates a roadmap towards the Complete 365 standard. Later reviews can then show what has changed instead of repeatedly starting from opinion or memory.

Reports must lead to action

A report has limited value if it is filed away and nothing changes. Konnetix uses the findings to prioritise work, assign responsibility and track improvements. Some actions form part of the ongoing managed service, while larger projects are added to the technology roadmap and separately scoped before delivery.

Depending on the environment, actions may include:

  • Strengthening Microsoft 365 identity, access and sharing controls
  • Enforcing multi-factor authentication and reducing unnecessary administrator access
  • Applying missing security patches and replacing unsupported equipment
  • Improving email authentication, filtering and phishing protection
  • Testing backup coverage and documenting recovery arrangements
  • Addressing vulnerabilities identified through monitoring and assessment
  • Planning security, infrastructure and AI readiness improvements

Continuous monitoring between reviews

Security does not stand still between reports. Complete 365 combines automated monitoring with human oversight so that changes, alerts and risks can be acted on throughout the service.

Devices are monitored for health, patching and suspicious behaviour. Microsoft 365 security alerts and identity risks are reviewed. Managed Detection and Response operates 24/7 with Security Operations Centre analysts investigating suspicious activity and helping to contain genuine threats.

Backup, security and infrastructure information is considered together. That broader view helps the team identify patterns and underlying causes instead of treating every alert or support request as an isolated event.

Showing measurable improvement

Evidence gives customers a way to see progress. The Complete 365 page includes an example of a customer whose Microsoft Secure Score increased from 51% to 88% within the first two weeks of onboarding. The value is not the number alone. It is the recorded work behind the change, such as strengthening policies, identities and access controls.

No single score proves that a business is completely secure. Used alongside the Security Alignment Report, MDR activity, patch status, backup checks and service reviews, however, it helps create a much clearer picture of whether risk is being reduced over time.

Clear accountability through your TAM and vCIO

Every Complete 365 customer has a dedicated Technical Account Manager who understands the business and coordinates ongoing improvements. The TAM connects technical findings with actions, follows up on priorities and provides a consistent point of accountability.

The virtual Chief Information Officer adds strategic oversight. This helps directors understand risk, plan budgets, prioritise projects and decide where technology investment will have the greatest business value. Reporting therefore supports both operational improvement and longer-term decision-making.

Protecting productivity as well as data

Security and productivity should support each other. Well-managed devices, reliable systems, controlled access and tested recovery arrangements reduce avoidable interruptions. Staff can get help quickly, leaders can make decisions using current information and technology is less likely to hold back a growing business.

The purpose of Complete 365 reporting is not to produce more paperwork. It is to give customers clear evidence that their environment is being monitored, secured and improved, with identified risks connected to practical action.

Ask your IT provider to show their work

A business should be able to ask what is protected, what has changed, what remains at risk and what happens next. If the answers are unclear, it is difficult to know whether IT is actively managed or simply waiting for the next support request.
